Search Across Multiple Cloud Storage Services

Files scattered across multiple cloud services? If you use Google Drive for personal files, OneDrive for work, and SharePoint for team documents, finding the right file means searching three different places. Tamsaek unifies all your storage into one search.

Modern knowledge workers use multiple cloud services:

  • Google Drive: Personal files, shared documents
  • OneDrive: Microsoft 365 integration, work files
  • SharePoint: Team sites, company documents
  • Local folders: Downloads, projects, archives

Searching each service separately wastes time and often misses results.

Tamsaek connects to all your cloud storage and indexes everything locally. One search, all sources:

”Duplicate results from cloud and local”

Section titled “”Duplicate results from cloud and local””

If you use cloud sync apps (Google Drive for Desktop, OneDrive), you might have duplicates. Options:

  1. Exclude the local sync folder from indexing
  2. Or exclude the cloud source from Tamsaek
  3. Tamsaek attempts to deduplicate, but edge cases exist
  1. Disconnect and reconnect SharePoint
  2. Ensure your account has access to the site
  3. Contact your IT admin if sites are restricted
  1. Connect all your services: More sources = better results
  2. Be selective with SharePoint: Index only sites you use
  3. Let initial sync complete: Large clouds take time
  4. Keep Tamsaek running: Background sync keeps index fresh
